ABOUT ME

We are a family that moved from inland China to Yunnan Province many years ago in order to start a new life. Both of us have been serving and living in an intentional community which started in Taiwan for years as full-time volunteers. We are very much grateful for the experiences and deep connections built In the community . Outside the community right now we are still determined to carry on the spirit of love and compassion, the idea of serving and sharing into our present and future lives .As well as the alternative lifestyle, which includes, depending less and less on the system, money but more and more on faith ,hands-on working and mutual service.
We have been living on the land , in a yurt for a year and a half ,consider this as a life experiment. Now we rent an old courtyard in the local Bai village at the foot of the Cangshan Moutain, between two beautiful steams. Homeschooling our own children, and at the same time wlling to connect to the local families and many other immigrants from all over the country. We believe that it takes a village or a tribe rooted in love and trust to raise a child and nurture a family.
Small is beautiful. Great and wonderful spirit and ideas should be practiced and examined on small scales in everyday living. We like the Chinese saying,”IF I KEEP A GREEN BOUGH IN MY HEART,THE SINGSING BIRD WILL COME.”
An open heart and mind is mostly necessary. We'd be very pleased to contribute our portion and host sincere friends from all over the world so as to have meaningful interactions and sharings together,believing we are the gifts and blessings for one another.However,we are a small family and still working to improve the living facilities in this old courtyard.Our way to host are now flexible according to different people and timing. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'd love to meet people around the world,esp. from different cultures.Building up bridges instead of walls.Such a beautiful thing to have heart to heart communications.Since I am also teaching in a community school here,I'd love to introduce my students to a wide , broad and wonderful world .

Reading,Movies,Traveling,Farming,Learning and Practising permaculture at the moment.Love children like spending time with them esp in nature and chating.

Life itself is an amazing gift.Everyone is born in love and for the service of love,and one day backhome in love we go.I'm learning to cherish and appreciate many ordinary ,small moments and experiences in every day life,the people around me.every guest entering my home.That,is my everyday spiritual practising,my prayer,my Yoga,that is my life.
