Me and my boyfriend of 6 years, Ottó, are taking a four month trip around the world. We really want to experience the couchsurfing community and hope that we can later host travellers.

We are outgoing and love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. We are non-smokers and no party people, although we love a good meal with a nice drink!

We think it's a wonderful idea to host people for free when you have the opportunity and we hope we can try both being guests and hosting others. It's a great way to really get to know a local and meet some new people.

Traveling, eating out, cooking, literature, computer games and music.

One of our favorite things is eating at a restaurant and enjoying a night with friends and drinks, or cooking a meal at home!

We are nature lovers and like pets and animals. We love having adventures and also a cozy movie night.

Of course we love hanging out with friends and making new ones, talking to people with similar interests and learning about new things.

Our combined taste is very varied. Jenný's music is a lot of classic rock; The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Beach Boys, reggae, Sigur Rós and a mixture of different genres. Ottó also likes rock, but his favorites are a bit on the harder side; the Icelandic Skálmöld, Rammstein, Gojira and other heavy metal. Still we sing along in the car to some classic 80's hits and rap!

Ottó likes classic literature while Jenný reads a lot of fantasy novels, but really any exciting book will do.

Some of our favorite films include Forrest Gump, Saving Private Ryan, The Boat that Rocked, About Time and we also like comedies and classic cartoons!

Jenný took a 4 day trek up to Machu Picchu in Peru and then saw the sun rise above this ancient city - amazing.

Ottó played the drums with his band at Iceland biggest 'Battle of the Bands' final event. It was broadcasted on national television - amazing.

We would love to share our knowledge about our home country Iceland and the northern region. We love discussing languages and both teaching and learning something new in that field. Food and drinks are a wonderful thing to share with others and so is music.

We love languages and talking about different cultures! We can teach you about Iceland and Icelandic and even some stuff about the Nordic countries.

We can cook with you and introduce you to some new dishes. Helping around the house would be our pleasure!
