About Me

Kia ora whanau, just Joss on this trip!

I'm a LGBTQA+ positive, communicative, fun-loving human seeking new friendships, community and growth! I come from New Zealand, the land of sun, rolling hills, and sheep, but love leaving my little island to explore the vast world we live in. My love for food and adventure guides my travels, as well as my fascination for both digital and acoustic music! I practice freeganism (free vegan) meaning I only cook and generally consume plant-based foods, however I am open to trying other cultures animal based foods and dumpster-dived food. My friends say I'm incredibly communicative and a pleasure to spend time with, maybe they're right?

I am an active member of the world Burning Community, and having just returned from burning Seed I am feeling re-inspired, revitalised, and ready to stand up in my power! I'm learning so much right now about improving my DJ performances, as well as audio theory and soundsystems. I wish to create inclusive, conscious spaces for dance, expression, and expressing a love of music, as well delve more into live instruments for jamming and improvisation. My experience in website design and development also inspires me to incorporate music and performance into my web projects, though I'm still working out what this might look like :)

I am early in my own spiritual journey, having practiced meditation and yoga now for 3.5+ years, though my early insights thus far have already changed my life. I am at once calm and insightful as I can be energetic and full of enthusiasm. I love to cycle, swim, act and sing and am quite a theatrical person. My partner and I practice polyamory and take pride in on our healthy, communicative, loving relationships with ourselves and others.
