Overview
About Me
Xin chào / Kia ora! I’m Jenny (aka Clementine) — a Vietnamese–Aotearoa New Zealand wisdom collector who’s been traveling, creating intentional community, and contributing to alternative culture (ie: activist, LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, polyamorous, kink, feminist, Burning Man) around the world for almost 2 decades. I’m queer, GNC, playful, grounded, politically awake, and always open to connecting with people who care about art, consent, collective liberation, ancestral healing, and joy. (It’s just me solo traveling but my legacy couchsurfing account won’t let me change the name to remove Joss).
My aim is to meet other BIPOC, queer, activists and learn from off grid intentional and indigenous communities. My passions include ukulele, painting, singing, and most genres of dance. I also love adventure sports in nature (solo paragliding, rock climbing, scuba diving, snowboarding, etc). For me travel is not just movement — it’s transformation, reconnection, and remembering who we are in our most free, radically expressive form.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We all have the capacity for kindness and I endeavor to spend my life meeting inspiring people. Couch surfing allows us to live in worldwide community without physical limitations, one that shares culture and wellness, knowledge and experience. I wish to share my unique energy and attitude with individuals and communities worldwide, and learn from them in return.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music depends on my mood from Spanish guitar to EDM to jazz. A consciousness expanding book I loved was The Wake-Up by Michelle Mijung Kim. La Belle Verte is an awesome movie with great comedy and political commentary.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bike packed for 3 months from Hungary through Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and Norway sleeping out of a tent every night under the stars.
