ABOUT ME

I'm Jingyi. I'm the exchange student in Lyon, France for one year. I come from South China. I like travelling and experiencing new culture with people. Talking with people is amazing and I enjoy it very much. Although now I have a quite simple life and I need to work hard in school every weekday, I do prefer walking around, breathing on the open space and enjoying the fresh air instand of just sitting in the dorm. In my spare time, I like dancing, listening to music and singing. Also, I love smiling and sometimes I would burst into laugh in public. So don't be surprised if I laugh in front of you!!

PHILOSOPHY

I do believe we should have our expectations in our life. I like to look forward instead of staying the same position or looking backward. When difficulties appear, I would think of solutions rather than be upset or disappointed.
However, I don't want a really amazing life. What I want is a simple life. I believe simpliness is hard to achieve but I will always pursue this attitude in my life. I believe goodness exists in everythone's mind and I would choose to believe in everyone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went traveling with my friend, Han, in December and January. We've been hosted in 10 people's house during our travels. I think CS is really cool and worthwhile. You may only feel like the city by talking with people and having the cultural experience with them. I like CS very much beacuase not only can I make various friends in it but understand their unique thinking influenced by the unique environment. I think that's the spirit of couchsurfing: to really know one place when you are into its culture. Travelling is about communicating with the locals.

兴趣

I love playing the piano, dancing and singing. Sometimes I like walking along the city and enjoying the special environment.

Classical music is preferrable.
Except the movie that there are some dead people in it, I would like to watch it.
I love novels and any book with beautiful stories.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I came to India by my own although it's said that it's dangerous but I met a lot of kind persons there.
Thanks to my mom, I continued to playing the piano and learning dancing for more than 10 years although many people thing it's a waste of time and money. But now I gain a lot from my interest especially when I'm down.

I could teach you Chinese if you want. Also, I can teach you to play the piano or dance.
I can share my traveling experiences with you and my life experiences as well. I would like to share stories with you.
I would like to learn your language or your philosophy. Also, if you are good at cooking, I can also be the students of you.
