About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding inner peace (while traveling the world of course!)

ABOUT ME

I'm just another soul trying to make it in this great big world. Nurse by profession, I am taking some time off before I have to be a real person and get a full time job to pay bills and die. I love meeting new people and seeing new things in life. I believe that life should be well enjoyed. I see too many people sick in the hospital who cannot even dream of what we couchsurfers are doing; travelling, meeting new people, and just enjoying life. So here I am trying to meet as many people as I can and enjoy the rest of my time as an ambulatory human being.

So while I can still walk, eat, and take care of myself I would like to experience what this world has got to offer me. Whether it's the tippy top of Mt. Everest, or the fantastic bar in London, I'm ready to experience it all!

PHILOSOPHY

I think a person's philosophy changes at different stages of their life. Currently mine is to really discover myself. And what better way is there to do that besides exposing myself to the wonders of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a native New Yorker and after utilizing CS during my time in Europe I would really like to give back. And trust me, it was hard to break my shell because New Yorkers are lean, mean, and cold people. Okay, I kid. But really, I plan to just give tours for now because I don't have a place of my own, but I can help you find cheap accommodation and hang out with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couchsurfing all over Europe, and it was one of the greatest things I have ever done for myself. I met people everywhere I went and I was never lonely. It is because of this experience I know how important it is to keep using CS even though I am not travelling. I never want to stop helping this amazing community grow and stop meeting potential new friends.

Interests

I have number of interest but it's mostly adventurous. I enjoy exploring new places, going on food excursions, finding cool bars etc. When I'm not traveling I enjoy meeting new friends at a coffee shop, going to yoga, or cooking.

Disclaimer: I have more interests than those named above, just cannot think of them all at the moment.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to the top 40's because you can't go to a bar and not hear those. I also like easy listening stuff like Michael Ingridson, Pentatonix, Adele etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I guess the most amazing thing I've done is going Parachuting in Thailand. It is one of the most gorgeous places on the face of this planet. When you're way above the ground you feel as if you're free and flying.

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmm. Well I don't really know what you would like to learn from me, but I guess I could help you perfect a language or two. I am fluent in Chinese and English and since those are arguable the most important languages nowadays I guess it would come in handy some day. For all the ladies I also know how to give really good manicures so when you host me, we can have manicure parties!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Bermuda, Canada, China, Dominican Republic, England, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Macao, Malaysia, Malta, Saint Martin (French part), Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand
