HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My current housing situation does not allow guests, but once that changes I am very open to hosting. I enjoy meeting new people, so if you want to know the best place to grab a pastry and a latte in New York, just ask! I'm hoping to CouchSurf a lot more this fall after moving to Europe.

Things I am watching: The West Wing, BBC's "Sherlock," RuPaul's Drag Race, Breaking Bad.

Things I am listening to: truly a mix of everything, depending on my mood. I enjoy Sinatra as much as Swedish House Mafia. Also, Lindsey Stirling is a force of nature.

Things I am reading: The Night Circus, anything by Terry Prachett, a rotating list of Times recommended nonfiction.

I almost knocked myself out walking straight into a lamp post on a deserted London street on Christmas day.

I'm also a veteran of Burning Man, a fire spinner, an amateur lyra artist, and a connoisseur of apricot croissants.

I'm sure to have my flow toys with me wherever I go (hoop, leviwand, and/or poi) and am happy to teach! I'm also a TEFL certified English tutor and freelance copyeditor, so come to me with your burning English questions.

I'm eager to learn just about anything, and am particularly interested in languages (as I'm embarrassed to be fluent only in English thus far) and movement arts (dance, aerials, acrobatics, object manipulation, etc.).
