ABOUT ME

i moved away from new york city to live in New Mexico about 13 years ago to go to massage school and unwind my city self. i've spent lots of time traveling around europe training in physical theater and contemporary dance. 4 years ago, I went to Clown School in Ibiza, Spain and walked the Camino de Santiago before returning stateside., and I've been trying to hang tight in the U.S. ever since. A couple of years ago, I crossed the country on a bicycle with a theater troupe--we toured a play from Oakland, CA to Brooklyn, NY in a summer. I got picked up by an experimental theater company in Columbia, Missouri, where I've been living and working for the past 2 years.

still refining this one, but something like what winston churchill said: "Success consists of going from failure to failure without the loss of enthusiasm"
in general i'm trying to reimagine possibilities of how to live... and to let my life reflect more of the imagination. finally beginning to accept that the only thing i know is nothing is ever constant except change.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I travel a lot for theater, yoga, and massage workshops and trainings and find it's way more interesting to stay with people and have that human connect to place. I also recently hunkered down in my own home for the first time in years and so am open to hosting other travelers as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
When I traveled in Europe, I was part of an organization that worked a lot like Couchsurfing, and got to stay with and meet so many wonderful and generous people, with whom i've remained in contact. During our bike tour, we used "Warm Showers" which is like a Couchsurfing site for bicyclists, and had amazing experiences.
