For the past year I've been an English teacher in Bilbao, Spain. Now I"m doing it again in Barcelona, but this time at a nursery with babies (gulp). I love to travel, write, eat, and most of all, meet people.

PHILOSOPHY

Everything happens for a reason, even if it's not apparent at the time. And try not to do things that makes life shitty for others.

I've couchsurfed a few times in Spain, Belgium, and Germany---all great experiences, thanks to the kindness of strangers on this great network!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

4 different hosts in 3 countries. Looking to start couchsurfing again now that I'm moving to a new city and sure to be traveling some more. All of my past experiences were great, so why not keep the good times rolling? It's so great to be able to meet locals who can show you why they love their city, instead of being a wandering tourist in a hostel for a few days.

Interests

Traveling, living in and adapting to new places. Meeting new people. Eating bread. Writing on my language and travel blog, www.athingforwords.com. Improving my Spanish, learning Catalan.
