About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring balance. At the moment I'm biking across the country and eating a lot.

ABOUT ME

I am a grateful and lucky person, and I often like to fly by the seat of my pants. Right now I'm biking across the country. I gave myself at least a year to travel around. I've also been to China and Seattle in the last six months. I love to meet interesting people, visit new places, eat yummy things, and in general just enjoy the journey. If I can do acroyoga, all the better!

PHILOSOPHY

Practice.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Someone needs to do the traveling! When I have a home base again, my couch will definitely be open to travelers passing through. Even before couchsurfing, I always felt a home wasn't worth much if people couldn't come and stay with you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed with two amazing hosts so far in the short time since I've signed up! I'm so interested in meeting people as I travel. Also, before there was CS, my own home was kind of like a hostel, both short and long term, for friends and visitors in San Diego. Whatever I have is only worth something if I can share it with others!

Music, Movies, and Books

I prefer things that are not too dark, too scary, too serious, or too hateful. I generally view media from a feminist perspective and can be pretty critical. I used to read everything, and I hope to get back in that habit someday soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In college, I learned how to walk tight wire. I performed with small community circuses for several years.
