ABOUT ME

I'm someone who likes to make friends and loves to make people feel at home. I can be shy and reserved at first. I've traveled some, so I know what it's like to want to feel comfortable, relaxed and safe. I'm a Christian and I love all sorts of different people and open my home to anyone. I have just spent two years living in South Korea teaching English - which was a great way to travel and work at the same time! :) My husband is my best friend and we love taking on the world together.
I do care about the planet, and I realized after having to live out of only two suitcases that we can function and enjoy life on a lot less. I am trying to become more outgoing and being helpful to those that I am staying with.

PHILOSOPHY

Love. Love my neighbors (you guys) as much as I love myself. Trying my best to be a good person to everyone, and when I mess up to be humble and make things right. I'm learning to open up my space and share my things with others so that I can help them out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2009 I was an avid surfer...for six months! CS has been very good to me, so now I'm giving back. I love hosting people and enjoy it lots!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch surfing experience was in Fukuoka, Japan. I stayed with a lovely couple there for about 3 nights and then two Japanese girls for a couple of nights as well. I had a wonderful time and they made my journeys unique and memorable.
