Hello! We're Jen and Josh, and we like to travel. We like it A LOT.

We currently live in Brooklyn, NY with our two cats, Oli and Miles. We met in Los Angeles in 2011, and moved to NYC in 2013. Jen's from California and Josh is from Australia, so we travel to those two places often. We're super good at traveling together, and we usually aim for a balance of spontaneity and planning.

Josh is a writer, actor and director, and Jen is a writer, actor and producer, and they just finished filming their first feature film together that they co-wrote. Needless to say, we love all things creative and inspiring. We love each other a lot, but we're NOT the couple that makes you want to gag with their cuteness, we promise. We make a good team, we're great friends, and we're SUPER FUNNY.

Jen had the most amazing experience couchsurfing through Europe in 2009, and has kept in touch with many of her lifelong couchsurfing friends. And now she wants to share a similar experience with Josh. It feels like the best way to see and experience and new place and a new culture. We don't want to travel in what Jen calls "the tourist bubble." We want the insider knowledge, the new friends, and the stories!

Travel, making food, eating food, going out to dinner (you get the idea, we LOVE FOOD), dancing (not skilled, but emphatic), baking (Jen is Gluten free, so she bakes a lot), going to the movies, playing guitar/piano/singing (Jen), playing cards, playing charades, getting lost in new cities, swimming in the ocean, picnics, dinner parties, drinking tea and reading on a rainy day.

WE LOVE ALL MOVIES, especially independent ones. Except Jen gets scared easily with horror, and Josh gets bored sometimes with Romantic comedies. But still, we love debating and exchanging our opinions on movies, art, food–– all the things.

Josh collects books...we have over 300 in our house.

We both like indie music, classics from the 60's-90's as well as some modern stuff.

Jen: I shaved all my hair off, bought a one-way ticket to Germany, and backpacked around East and Western Europe for 9 Months.

Josh: I dove with sharks in South Africa.
