I'm a Danish bloke of Vietnamese descent who also happens to be in his late teens, desperately clinging unto his last years of adolescence by exploring the world as much he possibly can (and as often as it's convenient for him) in the limited time that a gap year offers. Spontaneous, open-minded and driven are a few words that I'd use to describe myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
A few friends of mine recommended Couchsurfing as a great alternative to hotel-booking when you're travelling abroad. They've both had fantastic experiences with the service, and laud the community as one of the best ways to connect with locals in any given country.
Anything fantasy-related, the medieval period, video games, comic book movies, fitness training, exploration, history and English literature (among other things).

Would love to explore the local history of my host's country and share in their (possibly multi-faceted) culture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A polite guest who will go out of his way to ensure that the privacy of his host isn't compromised during his stay, and someone who's willing to abide by the rules set by his host. Eager to share stories and have a good time.
