ABOUT ME

I am a happy, fun, adventurous young man with a passion for exploration, soccer, nature, family and meeting new faces. I am from Seattle, WA and I work for a vegetated rooftop installation company there. I believe sustainability within the built environment is critical for further human development; We must find ways for nations to create closed-loop living systems. I am very interested in buildings that set precedence in ecological stewardship. The commercial and residential buildings sector in the US alone accounts for roughly 40% of total carbon dioxide emission output. While commercial and residential buildings are improving efficiency, I see a giant opportunity for this sector to drastically reduce that percentile, and profit from these changes as substantial government incentives actualize throughout developed nations in the coming decade.

I grasp new concepts and technologies very quickly. While living in India, I worked with a team of engineers to design and construct a 400 KW wind turbine that we installed on top of a seaside guesthouse. Writing is one of my strengths, as is my superior communication abilities. A previous employer once told me that I could, “walk into a room full of strangers and leave with everyone smiling and me with a room full of potential business partners.”

I have a passion for the great outdoors, enjoy people and have a knack for adapting exceptionally well to new environments. I put this trait to the test recently when I backpacked through Brazil for two and a half months this summer.

PHILOSOPHY

My goal is to always have a reason to smile and make others happy. I also feel an environmental responsibility to our planet. ie. Working for the Gates foundation to preserve vulnerable, vital habitats.
