ABOUT ME

Hello to guests on our profile. We are Daniela and Jens and living together in Dresden. We are both Electrical Engineering students with the specialisation in Precision Engineering (Dani) and Electrical Power Engineering (Jens). Describing ourself, don't ask, we don't like it, we hate it, but we can try it:D friendly, enterprising, sporty, tidy and calm (is that enough to convince you)

In some situations we are quiet and sometimes shy persons, so we need time to become soft and open-minded to new persons :-) We are not a party guys, Jens was it some years ago. Now we are standing with both legs in the life with own flat...

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing is impossible or in German: Geht nicht, gibts nicht...

We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them (Albert Einstein)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are living in a flat in Dresden with a living room and a sleeping room. The couch is large enough for 2 persons und more or less comfortable. You are warmly welcome, if you would like to see the wonderful city of Dresden incl. a guide, if possible ;-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Jens was hosted twice and we hosted twice

Jens tried CS first, when he planned his internship in Helsinki. He found no flat and got 3 day, before he left Dresden, the cancellation. So Jens need an emergency plan. He wrote Katrina, a really helpful and nice person and she gave him a roof over the head, so that Jens had not to sleep under the bridge :-)Since November, Jens has met her again and he was always glad to see her...

This was the first experience and it was great. Hopefully, there will be other possibilities in future.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Amazing was one trip with bike in the Dolomits, 5 days over the mountains. We felt free in every moment and we could enjoy the wunderful sunrise and sunset at the mountain cabin with my girlfriend. Really amazing and the best, what we can do. we missed it...

Jens: A lot of great trips to football games in whole Germany, always with friends of the SGD. It was an amazing time, 30.000km every year and every second weekend.
