Adventure! To experience as much as I can of the world. To try new things, travel to exotic places, and of course, eat delicious local cuisines.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in southern California (Orange County), went to school in Boston, and got my first job out of college as a design engineer in the automotive industry in Connecticut. After two years of working in corporate, I've decided to find an alternate path in life rather than climb the traditional ladder. I'm transitioning to new endeavors and now figuring out a way to pursue two of my passions in life: martial arts/boxing and start-up opportunities.

I absolutely love traveling and new experiences. In the last couple years I've probably flown at least once every 2 months. Huge fan of the outdoors - hiking/scrambling, backpacking.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed with a few people, gone to local events, hosted a couple times and met various people in the community through spontaneous encounters. =)

Once I have my own place I'd like to host again.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm an open-minded individual, and it's great how welcoming the community is. Meeting new people has always been an enjoyable experience.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

-Climbed an active volcano (Ol Doinyo Lengai) in Tanzania, Africa. The view into the crater and the view coming down was utterly spectacular. I've hiked and traveled to various places, but I had never seen anything like that before.
-Summitted Kilimanjaro
-Summitted Mt. Washington in New Hampshire during the winter with 90MPH winds at the top...so close to being blown off!
-Exploring a glow worm cave in New Zealand. It was like looking up at stars at night from another world.
