Overview
About Me
Hi guys. I'm Jeong Youn Lee. Currently living near Gyeongbokgung Seoul, Korea. I live about 15 minutes away by bus from the center hot spot of Seoul Korea. I live in a single room alone. I'm a student in a University in Seoul and I study English Education as a second language. I am quite busy with stuff most like most university students in Korea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing to find someone who would like to exchange cultures with me! I live alone in a single room. It is not so far from the Seoul City Hall, Jongro, Gwanghwa-mun, and Gyeongbok-gung. 15-20 mins by bus. But it is a really quite place. If your expecting to see a lot of hot places near my place, you won't be able to experience it. But if you are kind of a person who likes a more quite place, it would be perfect! I have one bed and a couch. I would be fine sleeping on the couch if you come over :) I have mostly everything you will need for your trip. Well, honestly I'm not much of a cook but we could go out for lunch or dinner to try Korean dishes and have a light breakfast together at my place. And I would be able to help anyone who needs a nice tour around Seoul. My English is not that bad so I think if you're hopefully fluent enough in English we probably might not have much problem.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kind of music! The one important thing is that I always listen to music. The music I listen to changes depending on my mood but music never stops around me :) Even when I'm getting ready to go out in the morning I always have music on. My favorite movie is Begin Again and The Intern. I like those movies that aren't really dynamic and crashing stuff but the ones that have more conversations and calm. Also when it has great musics like Begin Again, it can't be better!
I'm not that of a reading person. I mostly read books related to my major, education. So I'm really interested in the different education system in different countries. How you guys were educated, and things like that.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am a sophomore right now, which means that I didn't have much free time until recently. My life was mostly about studying so far. How boring, right? But I'm sure I'm not that of a boring person. I like hanging out with my friends, visit new places, and very talkative. Well I did do some cool things in high school like performing on stage and play basketball which most Korean girl students don't do but still that isn't really the 'one Amazing thing I've done' so far. I hope couchsurfing could be the 'one amazing thing I've done' some day. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
One thing that I would really like to try with you is a tour around the four palaces in Seoul. We will start with Changdeok-gung and Changkyeong-gung. I heard that Gyeongbok-gung is more recommended to tourists, but I personally think Changdeok-gung and Changkyeong-gung has much more to look and way more beautiful, especially if your thinking of taking great pictures. Also you could go into the Secret Garden there. Then we will go to Gwanghwa-mun and Gyeongbok-gung. It is definitely a place you should not miss if your in visiting Korea. If we have enough time we should also go to Samchung-dong and Insadong. If you'd like to visit these places more we could change our schedule anytime. And last of all Duksu-gung. And we will end our trip around Seoul having a light drink at one of my favorite traditional Korean pub in Myeongdong. I hope you also like to walk as much as I do! I tried this once, and it really was a sweaty route!
