Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I see CS as a cultural exchange, not a free bed. Please be aware of this when you write your request. It does shine through. Therefore I do not host for just one night, because I do not think that you can have this mutual exchange in just one day.

Response rate 65% or above: CS is a community which is build on reciprocity. If you do not take the time to answer your incoming requests with a simple Yes or No, I am not likely to offer you to stay.

Reviews, the more the better. As you look at my reviews I look at yours. I know it is tough to find hosts for new-bees, but my experience has been that people with a lot of reviews in general are more in sync with what my expectations to couchsurfers are, so try and host and have some experience that way :)
