Music, Movies, and Books
Love history, non fiction, biographies and almost all music … including recently getting into the Opera. Wife is a classical violinist, so have always loved the symphony… but listen to everything from folk, country, rock, Motown… Jazz, the blues… and everything in between.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Raised two Eagle Scouts :) started the first girls troop in scouts in our city. :)
Teach, Learn, Share
I am an avid learner… love to learn new things.
I have been a photographer at the professional level for over 20 years, owning my own studio and shooting for several professional publications. I learned on film, before moving to the digital world.
I am a mechanical engineer by trade, with a specialty in metalwork and metallurgy in general. Though I have worked somewhat extensively in polymers, thermoforming, roto molding and casting processes.
I’m a tech guy, being an engineer meant that I have sudo always been the IT liaison between engineering and IT… the last few years I actually stepped back from engineering and started my own IT consulting business catering to small businesses.
Love to hike, camp, fish… and grow things! Was involved in Scouting for 18 years, raising two Eagle Scouts and mentoring a hoard of others. Worked on camp staff as an outdoor skills trainer, and in Wilderness First Aid.
Am always happy to share what I know with anyone :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Humor and good company ! Super helpful if I can do something for someone I do… I believe in putting good energy into the world… it almost always comes back!
Countries I’ve Visited
Canada, Mexico
