Overview
About Me
I am a 2nd-year computer science student and former architecture student - travelling on my own for the very first time! I am a little shy at first but open and warm up very quickly. Love learning about new and different cultures and being able to share my own ☺️
Born and raised in sunny South Africa.
Love animals and have been vegetarian for the last 7 years.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am coming to Israel for the first time on a taglit program. Was recommended Couchsurfing by a few people after asking for places to stay where I can experience authentic and real Israeli culture.
In my previous experiences with travelling, I really enjoyed going to local spots and hangouts rather than tourist attractions - even if that meant not being to speak the language there.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too much music to list (every and anything - currently listening to a lot of 60's Ethiopian, Lo-Fi, and Yemenite music!!) I have a lot of friends who DJ so I'm always sharing and receiving new tunes.
Big fan of Studio Ghibli movies and Japanese authors (Murakami, Mishima) and philosophy books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
White water rafted the Zambezi river and almost drowned (was a lot of fun though)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Can share stories of my life and experiences in SA - some Afrikaans and slang words too! (South African slang is incredible).
My mom and girlfriend tell me I cook well so would be more than happy to cook meals! Can also run errands and help and clean around your house too.
Countries I’ve Visited
