Overview
About Me
I spent the first half of my career in philanthropy and nonprofit leadership. While this career fed my passion for transforming the world around me, I grew weary of my career's constant focus on fundraising. I had entered the field to fight for a mission ... but, after 23 years, I realized that I was spending more time thinking about money than many of my friends in the for-profit world.
So, in 2022, I stepped aside from my job as the Managing Director of a national consulting firm ... went to my first Burning Man ... and began to live with a more intentional focus on my personal spiritual path. I am eager to meet others who are similarly exploring different ways of living and moving through the world, which brought me to Couchsurfing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people and to visit places that I would not otherwise encounter ... and, through that journey, to discover parts of myself that I also would not otherwise know.
Additionally, as a lifelong Dallas resident, I am happy to introduce people to hidden parts of the city that are full of joy and wonder!
Interests
I host a wide array of gatherings & events at my house -- meditation and yoga; dances; sound baths; etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books... Prefer poetry (Rumi, Neruda).
Music ... my Spotify algorithm is a fascinating smashup of eclectic sounds whose makers I do not know. Thousands of hours of medicine songs, ecstatic dance tunes, and spiritual music have wildly shifted my tastes from where they used to be!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have given three TEDx talks.
Teach, Learn, Share
I spent 23 years in philanthropy & nonprofit roles. Happy to chat about that, and social entrepreneurship, if it is aligned. But my greater passion is to share about the various spiritual traditions in which I have studied over the last few years.
