ABOUT ME

I am an honest, direct and principled guy.
Married with 2 children and currently living and working in the USA.
I work in a role which enables me to travel occasionally on business to interesting places, and look forward to all such trips.

PHILOSOPHY

Be skeptical about everything that is published in the press. Definitely don't form your opinions or make decisions about your life based mostly on that.
And when it comes to travel - I try to stay off the beaten path, and also try not to plan everything. My nature is to plan things in advance, but I have found that the best travelling experiences took place when things didn't go as planned, or when there wasn't a plan.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Have been hosted a few times via CS, and found it a great experience. Hope to convince my other half to provide a couch at our house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many years ago I stayed for a week in Singapore in the flat of a Kiwi who I met trekking in Nepal. I didn't call it couchsurfing then, but I guess that's what it was.
We also have friends from abroad staying with us occasionally.
