Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering my couch to worthy and weary surfers; throw in a dash of karma, koha, good vibes and anything else I can possibly share.

Also to help people who find themselves in need, share advice, coffee, food, trivial facts and/or musings; I'm also not bad as a local guide.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed around Europe and Australia between 2006 and 2008 and had many great experiences: drinks, dinner, tea, a glass of wine, visiting sights, chatting, laughing, plotting maps and sharing ideas; I also stayed with hosts who weren't interested/able to hang out and just wanted me to do my own thing. Either way, it's great to meet new people and be invited into their homes.

Couchsurfing has changed quite a bit since this time, with loads of people just looking for a free bed and imagining that that's all Couchsurfing is about. If you feel there's more to it than that, all the better.
