Overview
About Me
I live in southeastern Utah where I work in permaculture design with a focus on drylands water harvesting. I grew up in the east but came to myself through the landscapes of the west. I believe we live in a devastating and beautiful era, and that we hold the will toward the leverage points that will shift the present paradigm toward a more regenerative, sound and sensible future.

Music, Movies, and Books
At present I am reading "The Permaculture City" by Toby Hemenway and "Soil, Grass, Hope" by Courtney White.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I love train travel and I am grateful that I spent days and days traveling the Indian subcontinent on long, slow trains through landscapes that felt like history, that held me in the open door staring out bewildered by beauty.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to speak of permaculture philosophy and how it shapes my understanding of place. How it opens doors to perspective and lineage and a basic sense of honor so much missing from the culture I grew up in.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My home in Moab, and what I learn from living there.
Countries I’ve Visited
Australia, Canada, France, India
