ABOUT ME

Hello!

I am Jeremy. I'm very pleased to meet you, but a bit shy!

I'm not an extrovert, but that doesn't mean I won't have something to say or contribute. In a group, I'll probably be the one sitting attentively, not dominating the conversation. I'll prefer a cafe or chill bar over a nightclub.
Contrary to what I just said, I'm pretty social, and I very much DO like meeting new people and throwing myself into new situations.. I just don't like being the centre of attention!

Some friends have commented that I'm quite analytical.. It's pretty unusual for me to get emotional or upset about something. Of course we all like to think we're easygoing and carefree! If anything, I probably overthink things, and I sometimes get frustrated at my indecisiveness. But I do keep things in perspective.

Studied industrial design at Uni, then did a bit more at a local tech college after my degree. Nowadays I freelance, doing stuff like websites and print, and taking care of the IT/marketing/design needs of a few local businesses.

Phew, what else to write? I want to travel because I believe a person is the sum of their experiences, and I want to see it all!

PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy the small pleasures in life, I guess, especially in combination!

I believe you can go anywhere and with the right attitude and outlook, have a great and fulfilling experience.

I only joined CS recently on the advice of some friends, but I hope that it will be a long and fulfilling experience.

Interesses

I'm a real camera nerd - can't stop buying the things, either :( Luckily I actually use them! When I take photos for fun, I like to shoot on film.. I reckon that the more effort you put into it, the more satisfying and gratifying the output is.
When I think about a destination, the first thing on my mind is what camera and film supplies I'll bring..

Loved Douglas Adams' Hitchhiker series, enjoy most sci-fi books and movies - the 'harder' the sci-fi the better! Last book I read : Rendezvous with Rama. Currently reading: A Short History of Nearly Everything by Bill Bryson (excellent travel author!)
