I'm a 23 year old dude who grew up in Wyoming and has been living in Colorado for the last few years, going to school on and off and working as a professional photographer. I've now moved up to the Sultan area in Washington to attend a 9 month outdoor program. I'm interested in living sustainably, seeing beautiful places, skiing, nice people, and doing cool stuff outside.

I originally joined couchsurfing because my roommate and I in Montana had a huge house, and enjoyed accommodating travelers and meeting new people. Now that I've moved to Washington- I'm new to the area and am hoping to meet new people (and maybe shower!). I could certainly find a campsite or hotel, but where's the fun in that?

Bluegrass, folk music, jam bands are my favorite. I watch a lot of documentaries, and try to watch a lot of cinema classics. Currently reading some philosophy books that are cool.

I spent two months in the backcountry of Patagonia and saw some of the most amazing views of my life. Sleeping under the stars being completely away from civilization with all of my possessions in a 70L pack changed my life, and I need more of it!
