Hi, I'm a musician from Southern California. I went to school for jazz piano but I also play guitar bass and drums. I love all types of music, be it rock, hip hop, pop, jazz, flamenco, country, whatever. I just started surfing and I really enjoy dancing too. And traveling is definitely among my favorite things to do. I've traveled to Japan, France, Mexico, England, Jamaica as well as to most of the USA. More than anything I really like the new experiences that life brings me. I hope to meet new people and to share those experiences with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For me the traveling experience isn't just about where you go it's about who you meet. Being able to meet locals and do things like a local does is a lot more fun for me than staying in a hotel and seeing things for tourists.

Cuando estoy viajando lo importante no solo es el lugar sino que también la gente que yo conozca. Me encantaría disfrutar de una ciudad o país nuevo como si fuera un nativo. Quiero descubrir lo que los turistas no van a encontrar.

Interests

I'm really getting into learning Spanish and I'm seeing the power of being able to express yourself in another language. Communication is the key to everything, so being able to communicate in multiple ways opens you up to more opportunities to meet people.

I've been a music teacher for the past 13 years. I teach piano, guitar, bass and drums. I would say I'm pretty good at what I do but I'm always trying to get better.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a very positive person and I do my best to bring a good energy wherever I go. I'm willing to help out with the cooking or at least wash the dishes. And I'm always good for a song or two. Music is a gift within itself.
