Jermaine was born June 24 in Concord, MA on an Army base. Soon after that he moved to Hartford, CT. He has been in Hartford for most of his life but once he turned 18, he began to want more then what life had to offer in CT. While he was really young, he fell in love with music. First he joined a church choir when he was about 7 years old and then he picked up the cello soon after that and never looked back. Jermaine just couldn't accept that his life wasn't meant for more then what was being offered. It would have been easy to become another statistic, sell drugs, live off the welfare system and accept that his life wouldn't be more then mediocre.

Jermaine attended the Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts and was introduced to Musical Theater. Jermaine was lucky enough to be mentored by Carolyn Kirsch (a very well-known Broadway performer), and she saw something in him that he didn't know was inside. She helped bring out his love for being on stage. Jermaine went back to CT after several years on the road and attended Central CT. State University and got a degree in Music Education and also attended The Hartford Conservatory for Acting.
