Some of my hobbies:
Cycling - as a sport, but mostly as a means of travel
Gardening - the fruit and vegetable kind :)
Travelling - seeing all the beautiful and inspiring places of the world, meeting up with online friends and strangers
Music - all kinds, very broad taste.
Cooking - I love improvising and playing around with fresh and beautiful ingredients, learning all sorts of dishes and learning about cultures through cooking
Thinking - the cogs up there never stop churning :P
Being creative - I like drawing/painting, writing and making music (they're mostly aspirations, at the moment)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I don't intend to ever make a lot of money. So alternatives have to be found to still be able to travel.
Besides that, I just love to cycle everywhere and would like my travels to be as enjoyable and real as possible. I mean that I would rather make friends and learn about people and local life, than to ride the tourist attraction.

I'm not good at favourites, I like all kinds of music and a lot of movies too. I usually don't have the patience/concentration to read books.

Cycle all the way from home (south-east Netherlands) to Nottingham, England.

I can cook and do chores around the house.
