I am born and raised in The Netherlands, a small country in Europe. I will bring some typical Dutch candies like drop and stroopwafels so you can taste things you never did before!

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

From 5 march till 5 april I am visiting Beijing. I have always been intrigued by China. Several times I said to myself: just go. I have read it on many forums but it is more difficult than actually do it. Now I bought my tickets I want to get the most out of it and meet interesting people.

Honestly this will be a very exciting time with many doubts for me. I have never done this before. Couchsurfing is for many people the best way to travel and immerse the local culture. Therefor I am really greatfull to give it a try. Hopefully we can give each other a fantastic time!

Intereses

My interests. I like sports. Football is my favorite sport. A few years ago my friends and I started our own football team. Sadly we never made it to the first place. As we say in Holland, we are eternal second. I also like snowboarding. I did it like 7 times in my life but I can't wait to do it again.

Further I like to play videogames with my friends. My 3 roommates and I have a Xbox at home. We often play Call of Duty and FIFA together.

For the past 3 years I worked as an online marketer in the travel market. Currently I am working on my own website which is almost done. If you are interesting you can take a look at http://www.goedkopevliegticketsmarokko.com. It is a website about getting the cheapest tickets to Morocco.

Last but not least. I like to go to the club. Most of my money goes to the bar owners. I am excited to see the nightlife in China.

Música, películas y libros

I love movies and series. I have seen to many to write them all down but nothing beats Prison Break. I actually bought all the seasons on DVD!
Although I don't play an instrument myself, I like the sound of real instruments.
I have read too little books but Caesar from Adrian Goldsworthy is my favorite!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I graduated at my own startup company. During my graduation I wrote a strategic marketing plan. Directly after the coming month of travelling I am going to put my trampoline company into practice.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

What I can teach... That is a very difficult one. I suppose I can teach you to have another view on the world. This is how I see it at this moment: if you have met people from all over the world, you are capable to become more aware about the world we are living in. I am happy to share my experiences and thoughts with you!

Learn. That one is easier. I have always liked people. I like their differences and point of views. I want to learn about you to become a better Jeroen. That is also the reason why I want to learn as many languages as I can. The world is way bigger than The Netherlands, I like to be able to communicate with all of you.
