About Me

I'm a calm person that enjoys being in nature and spending time on my own. I live with my mom and Kato. The three of us in a few words:

Jeroen : vipassana meditation practicioner, on a yoga teacher training (My body comes from far on the flexibility level so don't expect too much of me! haha), trying to live as a vegetarian and without alcohol, loves swimming and cycling, has a little space in a communal garden to grow vegetables, draws and writes, sings and chants when in good moods

My mom : passionate about biodanza, gives massages and hypnose sessions, loves taking care of her grandchild, sings like a red robin, loves wine and netflix in the evenings.

Kato : Loves cuddles and resting as much as she loves to chase birds and smells in nature. Although she is 4 years already, she still looks like a puppy and has a lot of success when you take her out.

Mom and Kato are not always around

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I decided to reactivate my couchsurfing account because I miss meeting international inspiring folks. I noticed the contrasts between cultures helps to understand our own. Mainly interested in meeting slow travellers or people that are on a spiritual quest. People that appreciate experiences and vibes more than to see lists. It is possible to stay for a longer period of time (a week or two). I am a little picky on guests. It is important for me to get a sense of good vibes before hosting someone.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm quite open minded about all these, as long as they are quality. I love novels, they help me channel my emotions. I love books about self development too. I barely watch TV

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed the kilimandjaro, thaught english in Vietnam and Uganda, cycled from Bruges to Oslo, changed my addictions into constructive behaviour

Teach, Learn, Share

I think through who we are we can teach and be taught, just by the act of interacting

What I Can Share with Hosts

Things you can do with me : Sit for meditation in morning or evening, attend a yoga class (or do some at home), cycle around the countryside, cook together, exchange a massage, have a swim in the canal or at the local swimming pool, play a boardgame, ...

We have a spare bedroom for guests. It is possible to borrow a bike and do some laundry.
