ABOUT ME

I'm a young teacher in History. As a historian i'm really passionated about history, espacially in old cultures in Europe and around the Mediterranean and also in Mayan and other Mexican cultures. I love travelling and I try to make at least one big journey every year. Apart from that, I'm really open minded, social, solidar, ... for that reason I love to meet new people when I'm traveling.

I`ve a lot of respect for other cultures and religions and I'm concerned about climate change.

PHILOSOPHY

Too difficult to say in a few words. I'm broad minded and open for a lot of ideas. I like to learn rom other people and cultures. I'm quiet social and hate it when people are selffish and judge each other.
Be critical!
This is our decision to life fast and die young. We have the vision, now lets have some fun.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've a couch 4km from the center of Antwerp but with a tram and busstop closeby. From the trainstation Antwerpen Centraal its less than 20min drive.. I love my city and like to share this love with you. If you come alone we can go by bike as well

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I recived guests 5 times. I loved it to go out with them and show them Antwerpen. When I lived in Guadalajara, Mexico Imet locals using Couchsurfing. During my travel around México I slept 8 times by Mexicans

I'm a Arcade Fire fan and I love Vampire Weekend,dEUS, Radiohead, Sigur Ros, Bloc Party, Editors, Pixies, The Smiths,School is Cool, Muse, Eels, The Strokes, the Doors, Tom Waits.. as well. Since my trip to México Im learning about Latino músic as wel.
Rock was my first love but I also like to explore other genres of music.

Movies:
Into the wild, no country for old man, lord of the rings, ice age, ...

Books:
Harry Mulisch, Coetzee, Allende, Llosa, Roald Dahl, ...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Lebanon and Jordan (summer 2O11). I learnt to dive in the Red Sea! It was amazing. The people, the history, the culture, the weather, the food,... everything is great there!!
Morocco (2010) was beautiful as well.
I've also visited a lot of countries and cities in Europe.
I lived 10 months in Mexico = best time of my life!

I'm a historician. I know a lot about European and more specific Belgian history. Apart from that I also know something about sport and geography/geology. I like to know what happends in the world as well.
