Overview
About Me
I am a student who is soon going to be graduating college. I want to see the world and meet new people and let them tell me their story and find a way to become a small part of it.
I also worked as a freelance design and marketing consultant through college, while dabbling in a number of art and film projects on the side.
The ones worth mentioning include Life Inside a Box and Tiny Odd Compliments, pictures of which are in the picture folder (www.instagram.com/tinyoddcompliments)
I am passionate about learning new ideas and listening to new perspective. I love humans and the connections that bind them together despite all differences.
I aim to let this be shown through the art I make.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The journey I'm planning is across 5 countries in South East Asia.
Thailand --> Cambodia --> Vietnam --> Laos --> Myanmar
I believe these countries are so vibrant and diverse.
I want to understand the people who live here, live their lives, eat their food, walk their walk. I want to understand what inspires you to create and what coaxes you to consume.
I want to do this so that my bubble of empathy and understanding is expanded and I can add the stories of all those I meet to my own story.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
I grew up on a lot of classic rock and music from the greats- The Beatles, Bob Dylan & Hendrix.
I grew to love and appreciate all kinds of music, but my comfort is in rock and indie.
I love live music and always enjoy stumbling into local gigs.
Notable artists I've watched Live:
Coldplay, Slash, Steven Wilson, Metallica, Mutemath
Movies:
I don't watch watch a lot of TV but when I do, I like indie and art films and a few mainstream cinema.
Forrest Gump, The Black Swan, Don Juan Demarco, Fight Club and anything Disney/Pixar are my favourites.
Rick and Morty, Mr. Robot and Narcos have been interesting TV series I've watched recently.
Books:
Read non-fiction books on psychology, business and design.
Favourite authors include Malcolm Gladwell, Adam Grant, Simon Sinek, Paula Coelho.
Philosophy is my new fix- mesmerised by Absurdism and Existentialism
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
-Paid my way through college
-Got 30 people to come sit inside a cardboard box and help me figure out the answer to life (Life Inside a Box)
-Raised 1.5 million Rupees through a crowdfunding campaign I started for someone who met with an accident (www.ketto.org/forsolo)
-Started an online organisation that fought student suicide when I was 15
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can help you learn the guitar, how to design using the computer or how to position yourself or your business on the internet.
Learn:
I am willing to learn ANYTHING you are willing to teach me. Believe me, I will listen and give you all of my attention.
Share:
I can share my skills, the stories I collect during my travel and the lessons I learn.
I will also be documenting my travels in the form of a vlog or documentary. I would love if you would like to share your life with the video.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will share anything that I have to give- in the form of my art, skill or learning.
If you have a business that needs some work, I will pitch in for free.
If you have a home that needs more laughter, I will fill it with all the joy I got.
If you have a mind that needs new inspiration, I will take on that challenge and take you on a journey of new perspective and living.
