ABOUT ME

I have a degree in architecture and engineering. For three years, I lived in Brussels and worked as Architect there. Since 2012 I live in Montreal Canada and I am a mechanical engineer in building. I decided to move from Montreal to Vancouver in the summer 2018. In July and August 2018 I will travel around Canada and Usa. I'm very friendly and I need to have a lot of moving around me. I like to discover other lifestyles in a foreign country, to see some new places and meet new persons. When I'm traveling I search both the wild sceneries and the big cities. I have some goals in my life, travelling is one of them. I also need some sports, I play tennis in competition and make a lot of runnings like the marathon.

PHILOSOPHY

My lifestyle is simple and I don't have a lot of needs. I prefer to live in a big city to have a lot of possibilities. I'm not a big consumer. If I want to buy something, I wait a few days to evaluate the necessity to have it. I prefer to spend my money for traveling or for an event.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used for the first time Couchsurfing in 2011 to make a trip in Emirates and Australia. A friend of mine who used often this possibility to meet some local people showed me the advantages.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried for the first time in Emirates. I spent some days in Abu Dhabi. It was amazing. Great encounters with lovely persons. For me, it's important when I travel somewhere to discover the real life of a place. Meeting somebody who lives there is the best way.

Interests

Architecture, the space planning, the urban space. Also the foreign languages however I'm bad but I try... I like traveling, to do some trekking, swimming, running and playing tennis.

Music, Movies, and Books

I have a lot of favorite movies. Recently, my greatest movies were "the innocent" or "Brooklyn". For the music, I listen every kind of music. It's not a good answer but it's difficult. I often like the french bands because the lyrics are more interesting. But if I must choose for the rhythm, the English songs are better. For the books, I confess that I'm not a big reader.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Some challenges like the marathon, the "Transbaie". The Transbaie is a race across the "Somme Bay" in France where you must make a run in mud and water.

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to learn foreign languages. I want to discover the local people when I'm traveling. I can bring you the Belgian and culture! I can teach French. I can teach several sports like tennis.
