Hi! I was raised by German Baptists in rural Pennsylvania. They're similar to the Amish, or conservative Mennonites. I decided to move to California when it became clear that my family would never be totally ok with the fact that I'm gay. I'm a visual artist, I love to capture human emotion and action on paper. I love talking about psychology, books, travel, feelings, animals, and I love to listen to others' stories and interests.

I traveled across the US alone with all my belongings in my car and no idea what job I'd be doing or where I'd be living at the end of my travels. It was a leap of faith and an intentional shattering of the walls of my comfort zone. I ended up living in California and making some amazing friends.
