Music, Movies, and Books

Spotify is a wonder, I can explore so much more music with a few taps. The world of music is literally at my fingertips! Currently on rotation: Arctic Monkeys, Muse, Vampire Weekend, Kendrick Lamar, Avicii... to name a few. Musically I am all over the place.

Favorite movies? Hot Fuzz, Forrest Gump, Inception, Dark Knight. Those I could rewatch clips ever so often. As for movies I enjoyed watching once: Superhero movies from Marvel or DC and action flicks like Fast and Furious or Transporter franchises.

Books are great, but I haven't found the time to read much since university started. But podcasts and audiobooks are truly amazing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Multi-day backpacking trips in the Rockies are sort of a common occurrence. I am embarrassed to admit that I sort of take them for granted living in Alberta and having them in my backyard. One summer a few years back, it snowed on us while we hiked! From hot summer day to rainy slush to heavy snowfall and back to sunny day all in the course of a few hours! We all got soaked to say the least.

I love to cook, I will share my favorite recipes or just improvise and cook something fun with whatever you have in your pantry and fridge!
