Every place has a story to tell and I am a writer. Therefore I want to go to places that spark my imagination and breathes the life and excitement back into me. Places that will ignite my passions and make everything seem like it's HD Technicolour again.

ABOUT ME

I've got:

- Colourful hair.
- An eccentricity. If you may.
- Varying sense of fashion.
- Expensive taste, mostly.
- A love for my ugly, old, tattered Winnie the Pooh shirts.
- A love for shiny and sparkly things.
- A thing for the smell of bookstores.
- An appreciation for the moon.
- An appreciation for those rare days when the weather is just lovely and perfect.
- My antannae out for people who're just like me.

I can be:

- Fun and boring.
- Optimistic and pessimistic.
- Childish and matured.
- Warm and cold.
- Eloquent and tongue-tied.

It all really depends on a lot of things. However, I do like:

- Interesting conversations.
- Interesting people.
- Interesting points of view.
- Interesting places.
- Good music.
- Good company.
- Good literature.
- Good people.

PHILOSOPHY

Set your course and let the winds take you there. My personal philosophy has changed greatly over the years and I've come to believe in these at least if I believe in anything at all. I believe in God and also that there is a possibility that there are some things in this life we must do, some check points we need to pass before we carry on with the next stage. No matter how many detours we take before that, we will find ourselves there when we are ready to move onwards and upwards.

Centres d'intérêt

Besides the normal interests of sometimes responsible and sometimes irresponsible people like me like movies, music, drinks, and parties, I am a writer. Of prose and poetry. Whenever the heart tugs and the deepest of feelings bring about a flash of inspiration, I will write. It is a method of expressing myself and the deepest desires of the heart that cannot be expressed in some other ways. The same can be said for singing. It is an art and a blessing. I took classical voice lessons and there is something that can be said for classical or contemporary singing in general. The soaring notes that belie the things that words just cannot express sometimes. Then, we sing. I also read books, drink tea and hang around with my friends and we would spend the time in conversation from dinner time, and often all through the night and into the rising of the morning sun. I enjoy a good conversation. They are so rare to find. When I was younger I also took part in Chinese traditional dance and dance holds a place among my interests as well. Sometimes one just wants to go out and dance the night away. In the clubs, in the open streets with everyone else (Spain? ;)), it does not matter.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

The phantom of the opera (watched it so many times I burned trough one DVD and got another), secondhand lions (so sweet!), Disney Pixar's Cars (go Lightning! Go Lightning!), Planes (because it's cute like Cars).
My favourite authors are Bill Bryson (the guy is hilarious! I love his work. His travel books and his fact books. The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt kid, his autobiography and Down Under, his travel book on Australia had me laughing to myself so much my parents started giving me weird looks), J.R.R Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion is epic!), J.K Rowling (Harry Potter captures the imagination somehow), Garth Nix (the guy has an interesting dark-ish flavour about his work and gotta admit, he comes up with novel stuff), Eoin Colfer (besides his really cool and deceiving spelled name, Artemis Fowl has swag), Kate Morton (all her work on deeply buried family secrets and how they wear down a person and a family sometimes from the inside is just inspired. She just has a way of describing things and telling the story that makes you ry FEEL it).
I also like some poems by William Blake, and the Arrow and the Song by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
I love Josh Groban. When he sings birds and cute woodland creatures should come to him just like Snow White. And Adam Lambert (Glambert). Love his style, singing and dressing too. Julie Andrews, lovely lovely voice and diction. Andrea Bocelli. Such a pleasing tenor voice. So smooth and creamy like ice cream! :)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I don't know if there is much I can teach anyone. But I have stories to share. Good and funny stories and anecdotes. But we all teach one another things inadvertently, most times without even knowing there is a lesson to be learnt in any one interaction. We all share and we all teach each other things which importance we underestimate or neglect. And we learn sometimes without knowing that we are learning but we all learn. Perhaps my stories will have something to teach someone out there. Even if it is just the subtlest or faintest moral or practical stirrings.
