ABOUT ME

I'm a 24 year old bloke currently living in Aarhus where I study English. I am very open-minded and easygoing!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm quite new on this page but I've slept on a lot of couches through my life. I have slept on people's couches in Aalborg, Copenhagen, Aarhus, Cape Town, London and New York.

Interests

Music and vinyl records are probably my biggest interest - especially those with funk/soul, hiphop, jazz and electronic music on them. Otherwise I am an avid sneaker collector and I like my streetwear. Furthermore I love travelling which have brought me to New York, Ecuador, Colombia, Venezuela and Kenya. In 2008 I travelled through South Africa and Namibia in and old VW Caravelle, unfortunately that trip ended in a car crash :-( In 2007 I lived in London for half a year working for Nike which was probably the time of my life getting to know a lot of new exciting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books from The Beat Generation Writers, Henrik List, Jonas T Bengtsson, Hunter S. Thompson, James Ellroy, Charles Bukowski, Bret Easton Ellis, Luke Rhineheart

Music-wise I like most but I have a speacial love for rare grooves and funk and soul. During my teenage years I wore hiphop clothes so I have quite a few favorites in that genre but not your everyday 50 cent hiphop. I have a love for the good stuff from the 90's. Finally I like my electronic music as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I survived a car-crash in Namibia which left me with two open leg-fractions and a broken hip. This was a life-changing experience that fullfilled the cliché - what doesnt kill you makes you stronger. I have definetly learned to look at life in a new way being a happier human.

Countries I’ve Visited

Ecuador, Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
