ABOUT ME

Travelling experience:

Currently I'm on the road as I trek from Fremantle back to Hobart via Alice Springs, Melbourne and the Victorian coast line.

I have travelled largely across the state of Tasmania, Australia so if anybody needs advice I am welcome to answer questions!! I have also travelled to many places across Australia (Queensland, Western Australia, New South Wales)

In 2011 I travelled to Europe. I spent most of my time in Finland, England and Germany. I also travelled to the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Austria and other minor trips.

In July 2013 I spent three weeks in Japan alone which was a really great experience (with the assistance of couchsurfing!).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I first used couchsurfing when I went to Japan in 2013 and have hosted a couple in 2014 who ended up living with us. I haven't had space or have been inundated with Uni since to be able to host again but I will!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending Christmas in Berlin with some friends.

Visiting the Hermitage in St. Petersberg as it was the most amazing building I have been in!

Hiking in Japan and here in Tasmania!

Teach, Learn, Share

I've just crossed the nullabor with a Canadian and the whole time I had my bird book in the front seat. I'm pretty happy talking and teaching people about Australia's fauna and flora and environmental issues.
