About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm hoping to make some good connections and some good friends. As well as be able to travel more whilst meeting brilliant people. It's a win-win really!

Interests

I've got a whole variety of hobbies and interests. I like to be active and outdoors. I enjoy hiking, kayaking and the occasional bit of climbing.

I love travelling, especially to new places or historic places. I have a particular active interest in church history and so enjoy visiting ancient churches and cathedrals.
I am a competitive public speaker - I make speeches for fun and compete with other people.

I danced for 15 years before moving to Scotland for university. I took a few years out whilst I was studying my degree but have recently returned.

I love languages, and have learned french and german for the last 7 years. I wouldn't say I'm anywhere near fluent but I love practicing and trying out new vocabulary and phrases.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm an avid reader of crime fiction, as well as crime shows and crime movies. My favourite crime books are written by Peter James. My favourite show is NCIS, and NCIS: LA, although have recently developed a love for Castle (hence the naming of the bunnies).

I am a loud and proud rom-com lover. I love all things rom-commy.

I am also a Harry Potter enthusiast. I absolutely love it. Books more than the films. I'm a member of Pottermore, proud to say I was sorted into Gryffindor house.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012, I spoke on National Television in the House of Lords - I'd say that's probably the most interesting thing I've done.

What I Can Share with Hosts
