About Me
I live in London with my husband and am a special needs teacher, a job which I love. I love to travel and have a local experience when doing so, staying off the well trodden path. At home I keep very active, horse riding, cycling, hiking and getting outside as much as possible! Currently we are on a year long break from work (before we think about having kids) and travelling through the Americas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My husband and I are travelling for a year and recently heard of coach surfing. We love meeting new people and think that the best way to enjoy a place is to be introduced to local people who know the area better than any tourist guide book! We love learning about different cultures and, in addition, staying in hostels/hotels every nice when you're travelling for a year is expensive and unexciting. So
Music, Movies, and Books
Any music is good music but I do love the old country and folk classics. I also love reading and love movies so very hard to pick favourites!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm... I guess the most adventurous thing I did was to take part in the longest and toughest horse race in the world - 1000km across Mongolia.
What I Can Share with Hosts
well my husbands an insanely good cook and loves it so we can definitely share food! Other than that, stories and some fun?
