About Me

CURRENT MISSION

meet as many people as possible in a year, explore things I never thought I would.

ABOUT ME

I am traveling around the world for a year. So far I only think ahead one country at a time which has worked perfectly for being free to go on unexpected adventures, visit new friends and see places I wouldn´t have imagined wanting to see.

Although it can be rather heavy, I am traveling with my guitar and have been playing songs along the way in various places including a Bedouin Tent in Syria, a few loungrooms, the sides of some interesting roads and at hostels. It´s proven to be a good way to meet other musicians and make new friends.

When traveling I prefer to see a place through the eyes of someone who lives there. It is a very different experience than doing the hostel tour and just going to see the tourist sites everyday.

I love cooking and food. I´ve had some wonderful opportunities to cook for people so far on my travels and love trying out local cuisine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Palmyra, Syria.

The strange and ghostlike town of Palmyra is a city of roman ruins that stretches for kilometres. It is hard to imagine what this looks like from a lookout, spreadout and fallen over like dominos, but it was amazing to imagine that an entire empire had once breathed and slept in this place many years ago. The reign of Queen Xenobia lasted many years after she poisoned her husband, the King. She was second most powerful queen next to Cleopatra, but most people have never heard of her, or Palmyra.

Teach, Learn, Share

Music and Singing is my thing. I can share lots of info about singing and techniques etc. Love to talk about it, it´s what I do for a living.
