We're a 20-something couple who are joining the CS community for the first time, hoping to make friends and see the world through different eyes.

Interests/likes:
- writing/reading (we're both bookworms!)
- Food (we LOVE to cook and try new foods!)
- Wine (we don't know much about it, but love drinking it! Haha)
- Travelling (that's obvious!)
- Music/live performances/ theatre
- Natural history
- We're both nerds (kind of!) and love all things Star Wars and Harry Potter. :)

- Raves/ techno clubs

- Little dogs (big ones are ok!)

PHILOSOPHY

We believe that fundamentally, everyone is in the same boat. We believe what goes around, comes around. We believe in treating others as we wish to be treated. We believe in fairness and forgiveness. We're hoping to be able to reach the ends of our lives and feel happy and fulfilled with every day that we spent on this earth.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We're new to the community and just trying to get involved in any way we can!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We're new and so haven't had any real CS experiences yet, although we have had friends from Australia come and stay with us in Scotland. We had a picnic with them at Edinburgh zoo, and got rained on!

We both love reading so much it would be too hard to list them all here! We have a soft spot for good fantasy, but we also love almost every other genre. We don't read a lot of non-fiction, but we enjoy observational humour (David Sedaris). Some authors that we like are: Dan Brown, Jodi Piccoult, Tess Gerritsen, JK Rowling, Lee Child, Ramond E Feist, Ian Fleming, Matthew Riley, George McDonald Fraser, Garth Nix, John Marsden, Isabel Allende, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Michael Crichton, Melina Marchetta... and so many more!

Music:
We both like lots of different types of music and are pretty happy to listen to anything except hard core techno and electronica. Dave particularly likes acoustic rock, and I (Jess) particularly like Jazz and blues.
