ABOUT ME

I love going to concerts, it's where almost all my money goes. there is something incredibly exciting and invigorating about being in a full, sweaty mosh pit and really really loud, live music, the kind you can feel vibrating in your chest. The rest of my money goes to my wardrobe, particularly to my growing pile of uncomfortable yet beautiful shoes.

I'm studying to be a history teacher, so I obviously like history and am a bit crazy because high school students are pretty horrible! or at least the ones I know... I love history because there is always a story, once you find that it becomes interesting, personal and easy to learn.

I also love dogs, I walk mine every day at Bondi Beach which is amazing. I love living close to the beach.

PHILOSOPHY

personal philosophy I guess would be let it be, everything will work out in the end. this type of cruisey outlook generally gets me in trouble (with assignments and such) but leaves me pretty happy.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies:
I am definitely a rom-com and musical fan, my favourites include Love Actually, Rocky Horror, Across the Universe, Moulin Rouge, and lots of disney; pocahontas, little mermaid etc. I also enjoy stretching my nerd muscle with a little Lord of the Rings or some Star Wars

Music:
I'm a big fan of Britpop at the moment so think a lot of Arctic Monkeys (although they were shite live), Kaiser Chiefs, The Wombats, The Beatles, The Fratellis, Oasis, The Kooks, The Strokes etc. I also love the more rock-ish side like Them Crooked Vultures (Listen to them, seriously, they are brilliant!), Franz Ferdinand, The Hives, Eagles of Death Metal, Muse (to name a few)

Books:
I'm a massive Harry Potter nerd. It's embarrassing really...

In Thailand I went to a village where the women wore neck stretching rings, that was pretty amazing.
