CURRENT MISSION
Jon and I will soon start our second contract, teaching English in Suzhou, China. A couple of days before our flight, we have a short trip to Dublin so any company or couches are welcome! (Jon Sharp is also on CS, you can find his profile in my friends list)

ABOUT ME
I love travelling, reading, writing and animals, plants... I also enjoy drinking and dancing quite a lot.
As a guest I'm happy to clean, tidy, wash up and cook no probs. I'm also interested in sustainable living. Recently, I've listened to a Dungeons and Dragons podcast, so if you're a player or DM, let me know!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a lovely girl from Israel for a weekend and she renewed my faith in this site. While I was hitchiking around Europe, I was amazed by how many people will volunteer their kindness and homes, asking for nothing but good company and stories in return.

I've been stranded alone on strange streets at night and it wasn't always fun- a safe place to sleep and dump bags makes visiting so much easier and stress-free.

Intereses

Plants: one day I would like to study botany. I'm a bit of a nerd: I like photographing plants to later categorize and check exactly what species it is. I also love hitch-hiking- It completely restores your belief in goodness, although when it's rough it is difficult. I'm also something of an animal lover, so if you have a pet- even if it's a snake!- I'd be more than happy to meet it.

I love Lana del Rey, Beach House and The Black Keys, Iron Maiden as well as Mø, The Wombats, Gorillaz, David Bowie, Kid Cudi, Major Lazer, Arctic Monkeys, White Lies, Billie Holiday, Nadia Rose and a million others.

I read alot, mainly fiction or narrative history, but I'm a sucker for crime novels and anything with a decent enough plot.

TV Shows I'm addicted to: Rick and Morty, Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Peep Show, Fresh Meat, Bojack Horseman, Bob's Burgers, Adventure Time, Archer, Soulmates, Please Like Me, The Inbetweeners, Wilfred, Jessica Jones... any nature documentary, doubly so if David Attenborough is involved.
