About Me
ABOUT ME
We were introduced to couch surfing in 2012 through "expert" surfers/friends in South Korea when we were living there. We then traveled through Southeast Asia staying mostly at hostels, but we used CS too.
We went to college in Boston and majored in journalism (Jesse) and social work (Corrine).
So we taught English in Korea. Then, we left the throes of ESL teaching to travel. Now, however, we're settled in the Twin Cities. I'm now an reporter, photographer and editor at a newspaper. My wife is a social worker, a therapist for children, more specifically.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
So far, our experience as couch surfers is limited to making two friends in Singapore who showed us around. They were awesome. Also: we almost stayed with someone in Hokkaido, Japan, till flight prices raised tremendously and we couldn't go. :)
