Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I first used couch surfing 7 years ago when I was traveling in the western US. Meeting local people adds so much to the journey. My apartment in Chicago is situated in unique a spot - right on the river. I want to share my abode with fellow travelers looking for a quiet place in the middle of a big city. My roommates and I have a canoe and an extra bicycle you can borrow.

I've done some climbing in remote mountain ranges of India. I've met some charming shepherd families who invited me into their tents and huts for tea. I helped a shepherd rebuild a bridge that had been washed out by a mountain cascade. His sheep were stuck on the other side and he had to get them across.
