Over the last 10 years I've lived in Renton, WA > Delaware > Spain > Norway > Philadelphia > back to Renton; it's been quite an adventure. Six years military enlistment brought me to Delaware and Spain. Upon ending service, I briefly gained residency via work permit in Voss, Norway before moving to Philly where my former spouse and I bought house.

I just moved back to Renton on the 15th of June to be with and help take care of my family, and start a new career centered on my carving business.

Here in the PNW, I plan to use my G.I. bill to get a degree in mechanical engineering & hydraulics, and continue development of a specialized machine I invented with an aim to have it patented (see the "about me" on my website if you're curious)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The Ritz Carlton did NOT have a lobster tank in the dining room. What am I supposed to eat? A Chef Salad like a peasant? Bunch of savages run this place!

Right now (as of 6/29/17), I'm awaiting on my first and second paycheck from a big contracting job that began a few days ago, then I'll look to find a place to rent. Only just re-established myself in Renton after a decade away. Do to extenuating circumstances in my personal life, my original plans for habitation during this transitional time fell through.

I own or have access to many, many tools, with knowledge of how to use them. I can fix just about anything. My woodworking business name is "Frome Furniture."

Example: Househole Doors. Are the not shutting properly or is the alignment off? It's usually the hinges, and I have experience truing them.
