Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Curiosity. Arguably the greatest piece of to the human condition; we wouldn’t be where we are today as a species without it. I’m curious about cultures and ways of life, like many, but am not the type to learn a lot from words or pictures, as illustrative as they can be. I want to learn it from first hand experience, so that’s why I’m on CouchSurfing. I want to learn from the people and communites themselves, not from a paper in a museum, or a paragraph in a novel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I’ve not found a genre of music I resolutely dislike. The challenge that I sometimes face is finding an that produces great qulity tunes within a genre.

Recently been listening to Hole, PJ Harvey, Broken Social Scene, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and various stoner/psychedelic rock bands.
