About Me

My name is Jesse, some call me by my last name Jordan since the spellings a little less confusing. I would like to travel more but with my work schedule it’s almost impossible which is why when I do, it’s always an adventure. I was originally born in Trinidad, then the parents moved to Jamaica, then back to Trinidad before finally settling in sunny Florida. I like to think of myself as outgoing. I love nature and all it has to offer. Just recently did a trip to Yellowstone and was almost a little upset I didn’t budget more time. :) Always down for meeting likeminded people. If you’re wondering what kind of person that is - give me a shout and find out - jord4067@gmail.com

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To create genuine friendships, not just the ones you find on social media. I think to truly know a person, you have to step a little outside your comfort zone. As the saying goes "walk a mile in their shoes" If that’s the case I’ve got my hiking boots ready to go.

Music, Movies, and Books

I could start listing artists but would soon find myself running out of space. Maroon 5, Queen B, Sting, The Roots, Kanye West pre Kim, Drake, Oasis, Justin Timberlake and Veronica Maggio just to name a few.

As far as books, The Sixth Extinction by E.Kolbert, 1984 by G.Orwell, The Race For What's Left by M.Klare and White Oleander by J.Fitch

Movie wise, I’m happy to watch anything but zombies. Preferably ones that make you think like American Hustle or Inception

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving was definitely the craziest. Amazing I’m still working on.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m trying to learn to cook better. Also been practicing French hoping that next year I can maybe test it out in Nice. Fingers crossed!

What I Can Share with Hosts

To be honest, I’m very new to the area myself. If you want an extensive tour of the supermarket where I shop or the park I run down to is fine. Much more and I’ll have to start looking through my contacts.

Countries I’ve Visited

Antigua and Barbuda, Argentina, Austria, Barbados, Belgium, Canada, Chile, Cuba, Denmark, France, Germany, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, United States
