I'm traveling solo through the Middle East, Europe, and Asia through 2018! I grew up between New Zealand and California, lived in Cali the last 20 years, and plan to move back to NZ after traveling.

The last 7 years I was a dynamics engineer at SpaceX in Los Angeles and helped launch 43 rockets into orbit. While traveling I'm writing novels about freshwater Siberian seals with cell phones fighting monsters to save the universe! They are stories about friendship and growing up in this beautiful world. 😍

Otherwise, I love hiking, climbing, mountaineering, skiing, surfing, sailing, swimming, diving, running, cycling, music, guitar, singing, dancing (lindy hop!), jiu jitsu (Gracie blue belt), reading (sci fi!), movies, photography, and of course good food, beer, wine, and whiskey, and sharing these things with cool, nice people.

Looking to meet up with fellow travelers and cool, nice people to learn about new places, share cool experiences, make friends, and generally enjoy the world together. We have but one world! It should be shared. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Designed and hand-built a little gizmo which orbited the Earth 3.5 times on the first Dragon capsule in 2010 and was returned to me to keep.
